Barre Pilates/Yoga
Barre is the perfect workout for seniors, offering adaptable modifications and a greater sense of stability.
This Barre class is a hybrid workout combining elements of Pilates and Yoga. The Barre is used as a prop to aid in balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements." To challenge and strengthen your core small props are added including, handheld weights, dyna-bands, loop bands and small stability balls. Great for all levels.
You made me feel comfortable right from the first phone conversation we shared. You are a welcoming and inclusive person. Your calmness and positive outlook through yoga is exactly what I was looking for. I came to yoga rather late in life but I had found a wonderful connection to a practice that really "spoke" to me.
